Meet the stylist
Stephanie Nelson is from the Bay Area of California. Her love for hair started as a small child when she was gifted a copy of Braids & Bows: A Book of Instruction. She enrolled in an extended training program through Elite Progressive School of Cosmetology at the age of 17 and went on to complete a 2 year apprenticeship in Berkeley, CA launching her career as an East Bay stylist. Stephanie proceeded to share her love for hair as the Lead Instructor of a salon apprenticeship program as well as an instructor through Milan Institute and Marinello Schools of Beauty. Starting in June 2024 Stephanie decided to go out on her own to create a more personal experience between her and her clients by moving into a salon suite . She specializes in creative color, cutting, and working with a variety of textures. Whether your hair is thick and curly, fine and straight, or somewhere between she strives to provide a beautiful lasting style personally constructed to fit you and your needs.
